Kori Hoffman Photography started officially 3 years ago after a vision of pursuing not only a passion of mine but also as means to fulfilling a lifelong dream. My passion being photography and my dream being using my tallents to glorify God and better the people of all nations.

I have been taking pictures all my life. I took Photography in college, but majored in Psychology at Northwestern College.

My roundabout way to photography took a turn as I went on to get my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. (I thought no one could make a living doing art, right?) My emphasis was on relational dynamics and system theory which has proved pivitol in dealing with people, children, and weddings. I believe my education in human relationships helps me to see beyond things that are taking place and helps me to capture the essece of people and their relationships. I also hope to use my education assiting artists in going deeper with their art.

I really enjoy the variety of my work. One day I may be photographing and intimate moment of a newborn with their mohter and the next day a grand wedding with all the chaos and passion that comes along with it. I thrive on the challenge of finding the essence of people and their relationships as well as all the details that speak volumes about people.

I also hope to continue to use my photography to educate people on social issues using photos as my method of doing so. There are many things in the works for me regarding this subject. One being a possible international trip to a few orphanages as well as photographing local children seeking their families.

I feel so blessed to be able to be doing everything I love, being with my children as well as pursing my passions. My thanks and glory goes to my God and Lord Jesus Christ. I could not do it without the gifts he has given me. I also would not be able to do this without the love and support from my husband. He is truly my rock....love ya babe.
